ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Chinese-American artist Alexa Pitt focuses on a diverse range of stories, both fictional and personal, that embody the complexities of being human. She enjoys experimenting with different media and styles to craft a unique approach to each story. Mostly she utilizes strong colors, along with an interplay of shadow and light, to create a memorable impact on the viewer. Her work has been in The Stranger, Quartz, and The New Republic.
